Swimming at the Watershed
Important Pool Complex Information
Access restrictions:
Mondays
- Monday afternoons 3pm to 6pm our pool complex is fully closed when our children's swimming lessons are taking place
- Monday evenings our pool closes at 8pm
Tuesdays
- Tuesday afternoons 3pm to 6pm access is limited to one lane in our main pool plus our toddler pool (the rest of our main pool and our learner pool are closed)
Thursdays
- Thursday afternoons 3pm to 6pm access is limited to half of the main pool, plus one one lane and our toddler pool (the rest of our main pool and our learner pool are closed)
Fridays
- Friday afternoons 3pm to 6pm our pool complex is fully closed when our children's swimming lessons are taking place
Saturdays
- Saturday mornings until 1pm access is limited to half of the main pool, plus one one lane and our toddler pool (the rest of our main pool and our learner pool are closed)
Every Day
- Latest entry permitted on any day is one hour before closing time
- On any Bank Holiday we operate to Sunday opening hours
Health Suite
- Our health suite closes thirty minutes before our Pool closing time
Children's Hours:
- Children's hours apply to all customers aged 0 up to and including 15 years
- From Monday to Thursday, Children's hours are 9am to 7pm (latest admission 6pm)
- On Fridays, Children's hours are 9am to 9pm (latest admission 8pm)
- Children are welcome all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Our Children's Hours and Children's Pool Entry and Supervision Policy applies at all times, without exception, to both members and non-members
Concession (reduced price) Swim Times:
- Monday and Wednesday 6pm to 7pm (excluding Bank Holidays)
Sensory Friendly Swim Time:
On Sunday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:30pm we run a Sensory Friendly Swim Session specifically for adults and children with additional needs and sensory difficulties - please note that a booking is also taking place in the pool during this session.
Pool Regulations:
- All pool users must wear swim hats and pre-shower before entering the water, including children
- All belongings must be stored in lockers (€1 coin required)
- The Watershed are not responsible for any belongings lost or mislaid on the premises
- The reserving of showers and changing cubicles is strictly forbidden WITHOUT EXCEPTION, and may lead to belongings being moved
- Members and customers must exit the pool and changing village when directed by Lifeguards and follow the instructions of all Watershed staff at all times

- The floor of the deep end of our main pool is MOVABLE, we strongly advise you to check the pool depth before entering the water
