Hiring of Sports Facilities

Please read below some of the main terms and conditions associated with hiring of sports facilities at The Watershed. A copy of the full Conditions of Hire document is linked below in PDF format.

• Full payment is required in advance of any booking, payment on invoice is only available at the discretion of the Finance Manager
• For single or one hour bookings, a booking form is not necessary, but for larger or recurring bookings a Booking Form is required
• No event can be advertised until the booking has been confirmed in writing
• The booking time must include time for set up and clearing away afterwards
• All customers must check in at Reception, before entering the activity area
• Cancellations must be notified a maximum of 48 hours prior to the time of the booking, the total hire charge will be due for any non-attendance
• Bookings may be cancelled by The Watershed for the purposes of maintenance and/or in the event of adverse weather
• The Customer will be liable for any damage caused by their own acts or omissions or including those made by spectators/attendees at their event
• Spectators are not permitted to cross the running track, on areas of play, the pool deck or in any changing areas
• The premises must be vacated by all participants and/or spectators by the time stated on the booking
• No decoration or notices (external or internal) shall be put up without the prior approval of The Watershed
• Consent for the use of the Public Address System is dependent on the customer abiding by the guidelines for use as given by The Watershed
• Persons under 18 years of age must be actively supervised by the Customer at all times
• The Watershed’s Code of Conduct which must be adhered to by the Customer at all times
• No animals are allowed on the grounds of The Watershed without permission from The Watershed except for the Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs
